Marger, I just finished Graveyard Tales from the library and thoroughly enjoyed the read, more like
that would be very welcomed.

Bought 6 books for $20 at the secondhand shop today so we will see how good those selections are. I note that one is also another graveyard book - I think I
have found my ′realm′ *cackles*.

Para, so glad you enjoyed "Graveyard...."It intrigued me, very cleverly thought out and nothing frightening. I often read ′child/adolescent books to find oiut what makes young people ′tick′ in this dy and age. I didn′t enjoy his "Coraline" quite so much - but a yong person might. (Excuse typos. If I goi back and correct them I lose everything)

It was a good read, Marger and I have also reserved
"Her Fearful Symmetry" as well.

Currently, reading a Dragonkeeper book and enjoying
it so far.

Last read was Wild Swans and am so glad I persevered
with it (12 months) - gives an insight about China one would never have had really.

"Mao′s Last Dancer" gives an excellent insight into China. I thought it a true eye opener. Have you read it, Para?

Thoroughly enjoyed reading"Mao′s Last Dancer", Marger - it was a good preparation for Wild Swans.

What about "The Kite Runner" and "1,000 Splendid Suns"? Two of my favourites. "We need to talk about Kevin", a work of fiction, also left it′s mark, and I must say the last chapter in "The boy in the Striped Pyjamas" haunted me for some time after. Where would we be without a good book!!

Will have to put those on my ′to do′ list, and yes, Marger, a good book can be quite magical at times.

Mistakes , to me, are simply a way of learning what not to do and/or what does need improvement.

To be a good psychic is to be aware of certain energies that are out there within. To me it′s all about a conscioussness one develops.
